"
I needed my JAFZA company MOA and trade licence apostilled for a supplier contract in Germany. The team understood free-zone documentation requirements immediately and had everything back to me in under three days. Absolutely no confusion, no back-and-forth. Worth every dirham.

My Russian birth certificate and marriage certificate needed apostille for our Dubai nikah registration. The process seemed very complicated to me, but UAE Apostille explained every step clearly and handled everything. My husband and I are so relieved. The service was professional and they even helped with the certified translation referral.

I used them for my UK degree certificate apostille so I could register as a chartered engineer here in Abu Dhabi. Quick communication, no nonsense. They told me upfront that educational docs take slightly longer due to Ministry of Education verification, which I appreciated. Six days, as promised.

Frequently Asked Questions

An apostille is a standardised certificate issued under the 1961 Hague Convention that authenticates the origin and signature of a public document. It verifies that the document is genuine and was issued by a recognised authority in the issuing country, making it legally acceptable in all 124+ Hague member states without further embassy legalisation. The apostille sticker or attachment is affixed by a designated Competent Authority in the issuing country, not in the UAE.
Apostille applies when both the issuing country and the destination country are signatories to the Hague Apostille Convention. Embassy attestation (also called legalisation) is required when one or both countries are NOT Hague members. The UAE joined the Hague Convention in 2021, so UAE-issued documents can now receive apostille for use in all Hague member states. For non-Hague countries, the traditional MOFA attestation followed by embassy legalisation is still required.
The apostille certificate itself does not have a universal expiry date under the Hague Convention. However, the receiving institution or authority in the destination country may impose its own validity period (commonly 3-6 months for some documents). We recommend checking with the requesting institution in your destination country before ordering. Some document types, such as police clearance certificates, have inherently short validity regardless of apostille.
Yes. We coordinate document collection and authentication across all seven emirates from a single point of contact. If you have documents issued by different emirate authorities (for example, an Abu Dhabi-issued trade licence and a Dubai court order), we manage the separate routing requirements internally. Multi-document orders may be eligible for a bundled discount; please contact our team to discuss.
MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) was the former name of the UAE ministry responsible for document attestation. In 2023, it was formally renamed MOFAIC (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation). Both terms refer to the same authority. MOFAIC attestation is one step in the legalisation chain for UAE documents destined for non-Hague countries, and is also required before embassy attestation for some document categories.
Yes. Arabic-language documents issued by UAE courts, municipalities, and government ministries are a core part of our workload. Where certified translation into English or another language is required by the destination authority, we can refer you to accredited legal translators. Translation fees are separate from our facilitation fee. We strongly advise confirming translation requirements with the receiving institution before proceeding.
Free-zone documents (JAFZA, DIFC, DMCC, ADGM, and others) follow a specific authentication pathway that differs from mainland UAE documents. Typically, free-zone authority attestation must be obtained first before MOFAIC or apostille processing. We are experienced with the requirements of all major UAE free zones and manage this routing on your behalf as part of our standard business documents service.
